An exhilarating blend of natural oils, Laila is an infusion of Norwegian mountain wildflowers with just a touch of fruit inflections including watermelon. With no synthetic additives, it mixes with the skins own oils to remain fresh all day without turning or fading.
Geir Ness, designer and creator of Laila, was born and raised in Norway where he and his mother would pick wild flowers in the mountains. Taken by the beauty of that experience, he always had an appreciation for fragrance. Years later, Geir met a perfumer and began research to recreate the scent of Norwegian wildflowers from his youth. After gathering flowers and herbs, they captured the scent in an oil. Geir took it to the streets for consumer input, made changes, and spent years perfecting it. After adding a touch of watermelon, the response was sensational.
After years of hard work and many setbacks, he never gave up his dream. Laila got it’s name from Geir’s mother. He secretly copied his Mom’s signature, silk screened it on the bottle and surprised her with it on Mother’s Day. He was now able to thank her for her love and inspiration.
